About Us
CMS Events have been established since 1993 in the events industry in Western Australia, specialising in consumer exhibitions and events across a range of industries. Food and wine tourism-based events are dominant in their current portfolio along with ageing, marine and regional event management. They have also included from time to time, specific client conferences, gala dinners and seminars.
Prior to 1993, director Richard Campbell worked part time in the exhibition industry from 1981 then full time from 1987. The companyโs experience provides over 30 years of knowledge and experience taking in the growth of exhibitions and events in Western Australia. This growth has seen a progression from partly regulated events to the modern day where compliance and structured management are critical in the delivery of sustainable projects.
In managing most events, the company takes on a full-service role which includes dealing with all key partners, companies, stakeholders, suppliers and the public at all levels. The necessary relationships and networks have been developed over many years to provide the support of key suppliers to the industry.
Projects involve full reporting and accountability under their management contracts as well as the operation and development of events owned by CMS. Projects managed are generally taken on for multiple years. The list of past and existing projects can be seen here.
